Stress is a natural response to the pressures of
work and life. It is the most common thing in the world
affecting anyone and everyone, no one is immune, however
some manage to deal with stress better than others.
Stress results from any event or situation that
places physical or physiological demands on you. When stress
occurs, the body responds by injecting stress hormones into
the body ready for a flight or fight response to the
situation. These prehistoric responses of fighting, fleeing
or just playing dead are practical solutions to physical
danger to threats of life. They are not however the most
suitable response to modern times of deadlines,
presentations, arguments and events we encounter today.
